Lionel 60 Lionelville Trolley w/Black Lettering/Box

This is a Lionel 60 Lionelville Motorized Rapid Transit Car from 1955-58. This is the version with black lettering. It features bumpers on each end that cause it to change directions whenever it runs into anything. It features interior illumination, a reverse unit, operating function and silhouetted window strips. When the direction changes the trolley pole on top also spins around to the proper trailing position. It was a real postwar favorite and Lionel has remade it in several varieties over the years.
