One of the most iconic cabooses anywhere, the B&O's "wagon top" I12 class of cars served the railroad for four decades. Built in 1941 and 1945, these classic cabs brought up the markers behind everything from EM-1s to SD40s. Decorated in accurate paint schemes from the 1940s to the 1980s and equipped with appropriate details like wood or metal roof walks, end reflectors and window screens, these highly detailed cabooses will be the perfect punctuation to your B&O trains. Guide to Paint Schemes: The I12 wore many of the B&O's paint schemes during their long service. The dates below are appropriate for newly painted or repainted cars and can serve as a guide. However, not all cars were repainted and many earlier schemes could be found long after new variations were introduced. Each of the cars in this release has been matched to in-service photos to ensure that the car wore that scheme.
