The GP 35
Following quickly on the heels of the GP30,
EMD’s GP35 quickly proved to be a much more
improved and reliable locomotive than its
immediate predecessor. Initially owned by
dozens of locomotives around the country,
through sales, mergers, rebuilds and leases,
these venerable locomotives have worn over
100 different paint schemes in the past 50 years.
Many can still be found today!
Our first release of this locomotive in 5 years
comes in all new paint schemes including some
eye-catching contemporary short lines, classic
Class One’s, and some colorful and unique
post-merger schemes (even one for a merger
that never happened!)
For the first time, these locomotives are
available with both LEGACY and Bluetooth
control - making them perfect for any size
layout. Non-powered units are also available for
most roads for those who want to expand their
consists.
